Workshops with Georgia Priskou & Loukas Balokas (Athens / GR) Loukas and Georgia began their journey in Argentine tango in 2000, driven by a shared passion that has continued to grow over the years. Their dedication to the dance has taken them to festivals, workshops, and performances across Europe, Asia, and the United States, where they have shared their knowledge, artistry, and love for tango with dancers from around the world. Through decades of experience as dancers, teachers, and performers, they have developed a teaching approach that combines solid technique, musicality, connection, and the joy of social dancing. Based in Athens, they are the founders of TangoFIX, a thriving tango school that has become an important meeting point for both the Greek and international tango community. More than just a place to learn, TangoFIX is a welcoming space where dancers can connect, develop their skills, and deepen their understanding of tango. Loukas and Georgia continue to inspire students of all levels, fostering a vibrant community built on passion, learning, and the shared experience of tango. WS Schedule Saturday 19th of September 13:00 – 14:30 Tango – Spicing up our walking. Different types of ‘’vaiven’’. 14:45 – 16:15 Tango – Ocho cortado and variations. Working with one of the most iconic tango movements. 16:30 – 18:00 Milonga – Simple ways to create turns for milonga dancers. Workshops – Sunday 20th of September 11:00 – 12:30 Tango – “The must have giros”. Examples of typical giros and Technical analysis for leaders and followers. 13:00 – 14:30 Vals – “Vals o’ clock”. Famous ”cadenas” and ”vaivenes” for vals lovers!
